Decision to close field is based on a couple of factors:

1) safety of players/coaches/parents (ie electrical storm) In this case practice/games can be cancelled at any time leading up to, or during the event or

2) threat to the sustained integrity of our fields.

• The field has standing water on it;
• The field is saturated with water;
• By playing on the field, the players are or would be damaging the field beyond normal wear and tear (i.e. tearing up the turf, creating muddy areas, etc.).
  

Rain alone is not sufficient reason to cancel.
